What you'll do
As the Head of Consumer PR at Whatnot, you will lead the global communications strategy to enhance brand awareness and drive user adoption. You will work closely with the Communications & Policy team to tell the stories of our sellers and the unique products available on our platform. Your role will involve crafting press releases, managing media inquiries, and developing relationships with key journalists and influencers in the industry. You will oversee the creation of engaging content that highlights the diverse categories available on Whatnot, from fashion to collectibles. You will also analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns and adjust strategies based on performance metrics. Collaborating with marketing and product teams, you will ensure that our messaging aligns with overall business objectives and resonates with our target audience. You will represent Whatnot at industry events and conferences, sharing insights and promoting our mission to redefine e-commerce.
