What you'll do

As the Legal Trust & Risk Lead, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the Legal department and the Trust & Risk team. Your primary responsibility will be to triage, evaluate, and route inquiries efficiently, ensuring that true legal issues are surfaced quickly while operational or policy-related questions are resolved directly within the Trust & Risk team. You will develop frameworks, templates, and decision trees that enable Trust & Risk agents to self-serve on common issues, which will help streamline processes and reduce unnecessary escalations.

You will work closely with the Legal department to ensure that all inquiries are handled with accuracy and compliance. This involves maintaining open lines of communication and fostering a collaborative environment where team members feel empowered to seek guidance and support. Your role will also involve training Trust & Risk agents on the frameworks and templates you develop, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed.

In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will be involved in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency of legal operations. This may include analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes that align with best practices in legal operations. You will also participate in cross-functional projects that require legal input, providing your expertise to help guide decision-making.
