What you'll do

In this role, you will own and scale Whatnot's global physical security program, focusing on enhancing the integrity and compliance of security technologies. You will develop and implement standardized procedures for security operations, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally and in compliance with industry standards. You will lead initiatives to assess and improve existing security measures, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices. Collaborating with IT and other departments, you will ensure that security technologies are integrated seamlessly into daily operations. You will also conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations, preparing reports for senior management. Your role will involve training staff on security protocols and promoting a culture of security awareness across the organization. You will stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies, recommending improvements to enhance the overall security posture of Whatnot.
