What you'll do

In this role, you will own the feature ingestion and storage infrastructure that powers both core business logic and machine learning models across various business surfaces. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the infrastructure meets the needs of the business and supports the rapid growth of Whatnot. You will be responsible for designing scalable solutions that can handle increasing amounts of data and support real-time processing. Your work will directly impact the user experience, enabling new product features that enhance community engagement and shopping experiences.

You will also participate in brainstorming sessions with machine learning scientists to explore innovative ways to utilize data for product development. Your insights will help shape the direction of AI initiatives at Whatnot, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of e-commerce innovation. You will be expected to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve the platform continuously.
