What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the Fraud Experience team, you will lead the architecture of fraud detection and prevention systems — your role involves designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end solutions that leverage machine learning to identify and mitigate fraudulent activities. You will build intelligent user graphs to model behavioral patterns and detect collusion networks, ensuring the integrity of Whatnot's marketplace.

You will collaborate closely with data scientists and other engineers to refine algorithms and improve detection accuracy — your contributions will directly impact the user experience by enhancing security measures and fostering trust within the community. You will also be responsible for monitoring system performance and iterating on solutions based on real-time data.
