Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in AI and machine learning, with a strong background in developing and deploying AI systems that leverage continuous physiological data. Your expertise in Python and machine learning frameworks allows you to build reliable and impactful AI solutions that improve based on real-world usage. You are comfortable collaborating with product and data science teams to translate member needs into effective AI systems, ensuring that the technology aligns with user expectations and enhances their experience.
You possess a deep understanding of AI principles and methodologies, including model evaluation, fine-tuning workflows, and LLM observability. Your experience with experimentation tooling enables you to design and implement robust evaluation pipelines that drive continuous improvement in AI performance. You are passionate about unlocking human performance and healthspan through innovative technology, and you thrive in environments where you can contribute to meaningful projects that make a difference in people's lives.
What you'll do
As a Senior AI/ML Engineer at WHOOP, you will own core components of the AI Platform that power the internal AI Studio. This includes developing evaluation pipelines and fine-tuning workflows that enhance the performance of WHOOP's AI-powered features. You will collaborate closely with product and data science teams to ensure that the AI systems you build are reliable and impactful, continuously improving based on real-world usage and feedback.
You will be responsible for scaling the intelligence layer behind WHOOP's AI-powered experiences, including WHOOP Coach and AI-powered Support. Your role will involve designing and implementing robust AI systems that can process and analyze continuous physiological data, transforming it into actionable insights for members. You will also engage in experimentation to validate the effectiveness of new features and enhancements, ensuring that they meet the needs of WHOOP's users.
