Wizeline is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to analyze and optimize data queries and dashboards. You'll work with SQL, Tableau, and Snowflake to ensure data accuracy and performance. This position requires 6+ years of experience in data analysis and migration projects.
Job Description
Who you are
You have over 6 years of proven expertise as a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer, particularly with data migration projects, transitioning from Athena and BigQuery to Snowflake. Your advanced skills in Tableau allow you to develop insightful dashboards that drive business decisions. You are familiar with data governance and security best practices, ensuring that all data solutions adhere to compliance standards. Certifications in Snowflake and/or Tableau are a plus, showcasing your commitment to professional development.
What you'll do
In this role, you will analyze existing queries and dashboards in Athena, BigQuery, and Tableau Server to understand current data structures and reporting logic. You will rewrite and optimize SQL queries and ETL processes to facilitate the transition to Snowflake. Conducting quality assurance activities will be essential to ensure that new Snowflake-based data sources and dashboard metrics match existing data sources. You will develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports connected to Snowflake, ensuring data accuracy and performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, will be key to gathering requirements and delivering effective data solutions. Additionally, you will create comprehensive documentation for data sources, ETL processes, and reporting solutions, contributing to a culture of transparency and knowledge sharing.
