You have 6+ years of professional experience in Android native mobile development — you've built and maintained high-quality applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. Your strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose allows you to create intuitive and efficient mobile applications that meet user needs. You are familiar with data structures, system design, design patterns, API design, and architectures such as MVP, which enables you to contribute effectively to application architecture models and programming standards.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with product teams to manage technical scope and deliverables. Your ability to identify strategic technical debt and provide cost/benefit analysis and prioritization recommendations makes you a valuable asset to any project. You are proactive in proposing architectural improvements and advocating for engineering best practices, ensuring that your team consistently delivers high-quality software.

What you'll do

As a Senior Android Developer at Wizeline, you will apply agile software development practices to define application architecture models and programming standards. You will design and implement processes for development, testing, monitoring, and change management while setting application development standards. Your hands-on contributions will include implementing Android features, fixing bugs, optimizing performance, and improving user experience.

You will participate in technical discussions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the technical scope aligns with product goals. Your role will involve identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and provide recommendations on effective AI use, enhancing the overall efficiency of the development process. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior developers, sharing your expertise, and fostering a culture of growth and collaboration within the team.
