Who you are

You have 7+ years of product design experience, with at least 3+ years in cross-functional product roles such as Product Manager, Product Designer, or Design Lead. Your proven stakeholder management skills allow you to comfortably interview executives, facilitate workshops, and manage conflicting priorities. You excel in requirements gathering, skilled at asking the right questions, identifying gaps, and translating ambiguous needs into clear specifications. Your technical fluency enables you to discuss API design, data models, system architecture, and technical tradeoffs with engineering teams. You possess strong Agile/Scrum experience, comfortable with sprint-based delivery, iterative development, and rapid pivots. You thrive in collaborative, synchronous work environments, often engaging in pair programming or design sessions. Your exceptional ability to task-switch and reprioritize in fast-moving, high-stakes environments sets you apart. You are an expert in Figma, capable of quickly translating concepts into interactive prototypes.

Desirable

Experience designing for generative AI applications, such as text generation or image creation, is a plus. Prior work with publishing, media, or entertainment clients will also be beneficial.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead product design initiatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to create user-centered designs that meet business goals. You will engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that user needs are effectively translated into design specifications. Your role will involve facilitating workshops and interviews with executives to align on design vision and priorities. You will also be responsible for creating interactive prototypes using Figma, allowing for rapid testing and feedback. Your technical fluency will enable you to effectively communicate with engineering teams, ensuring that designs are feasible and aligned with technical constraints. You will mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of collaboration and innovation within the design team.
