Overview

Wonolo is hiring a Customer Onsite Specialist to support local workers and customers at various job sites. You'll ensure seamless access to support channels and assist with recruiting operations. This role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Who you are

You are an organized individual who can take initiative and effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including job site supervisors and gig economy workers. You possess problem-solving skills that enable you to operate in an ambiguous environment, ensuring that both customers and Wonoloers have a seamless experience. Your ability to connect with people and provide support is essential in this role, as you will be the face of Wonolo at different job sites.

You thrive in fast-paced environments and are adaptable to changing circumstances. Your experience in customer service or operations will help you navigate the challenges that arise in temporary staffing. You are passionate about empowering local workers and understand the importance of providing them with the resources they need to succeed.

What you'll do

As a Customer Onsite Specialist, you will visit various job sites maintained by Wonolo’s customers, commonly in warehouses or production facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customers and local workers have easy access to support channels. You will serve as a product expert of the Wonolo app, helping both Wonoloers and customers navigate routine tasks and new challenges.

In addition to providing support, you will assist with local recruiting operations, which may include acquiring, onboarding, or assessing workers for W2 jobs on the platform. Your role will involve problem-solving and facilitating communication between different parties to ensure a smooth operation at each job site. You will be immersed in a dynamic environment where your contributions will directly impact the future of work for local workers.

What we offer

This role has an anticipated duration of 3 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs. You will have flexible availability, with morning, evening, or overnight shifts and occasional weekends required.
