What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer at Workato, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our MCP capabilities. You will advise on architecture for exposing Workato connectors as MCP servers, ensuring that our solutions are both innovative and efficient. Your insights will help identify areas where Workato can contribute infrastructure or tooling that the domain needs, enhancing our overall product offering. You will serve as an active contributor to the MCP ecosystem, maintaining strong relationships within the community and building new bridges to foster collaboration. Your work will directly impact how our platform evolves, driving efficiency and agility for our users.

You will collaborate closely with product managers and other engineers to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your role will involve designing and implementing new features, as well as optimizing existing ones to improve performance and user experience. You will participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring that our codebase remains clean and maintainable. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise in production, ensuring that our services remain reliable and performant.
