Job Description
Who you are
You have experience in regulatory compliance, particularly in the automotive or mobility sector, and understand the complexities of navigating legal frameworks. You are skilled at interpreting regulations and providing guidance to engineering teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws. Your ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English allows you to liaise with stakeholders and authorities seamlessly.
You are proactive in identifying compliance challenges and developing strategies to address them. Your analytical mindset enables you to assess the impact of regulations on product development and operational processes. You are also committed to fostering a culture of compliance within the organization, conducting training sessions, and raising awareness among employees.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support the engineering teams at Woven by Toyota in ensuring that new mobility services comply with relevant regulations and standards. You will conduct thorough research on applicable laws and guidelines, providing actionable insights to the development teams. You will also assist in the preparation of documentation required for government approvals and certifications, ensuring that all submissions are accurate and timely.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop internal policies and procedures that promote compliance and best practices.
