Woven by Toyota is hiring a Senior/Staff Fullstack Visualization Engineer to develop data analytics and visualization web applications for autonomous driving technologies. You'll work with JavaScript, React, and Python, focusing on data processing and streaming. This position requires significant experience in full-stack development.

Job Description

Who you are

You are an experienced full-stack engineer with a strong emphasis on modern data processing and data streaming — you have a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying web applications that analyze large-scale data. Your expertise in both frontend and backend technologies allows you to create seamless user experiences while ensuring robust data handling capabilities.

You possess deep knowledge of JavaScript and frameworks like React, alongside proficiency in backend technologies such as Python and Django — your experience with databases like PostgreSQL enables you to manage and query large datasets effectively. You are familiar with cloud services like AWS and containerization tools such as Docker, which you leverage to enhance application performance and scalability.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to champion best practices in software development — mentoring junior developers is a passion of yours, as you believe in fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive the design and development of multiple data analytics and visualization web applications that support Woven by Toyota's mission in autonomous driving technologies. You will be responsible for creating user-friendly interfaces that allow stakeholders to interact with complex data sets, ensuring that the applications are both functional and visually appealing.

You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate real-world data and simulation results into your applications, enabling teams to analyze metrics from on-road fleets and simulation experiments. Your role will involve implementing data visualization techniques that transform raw data into actionable insights, enhancing decision-making processes across the organization.

You will also play a key role in establishing best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and deployment strategies — your contributions will help shape the future of mobility through innovative software solutions.

You will work in a dynamic environment that encourages innovation and creativity, with access to cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development within a supportive team culture.
