Who you are
You have a solid background in software engineering with a focus on data infrastructure and data ingestion — your experience enables you to build robust systems that handle large volumes of data efficiently. You possess excellent coding skills and are comfortable working with various programming languages and frameworks, allowing you to contribute effectively to the team. Your broad knowledge of software development principles helps you navigate complex challenges in the automotive software domain, particularly in the context of autonomous driving technologies.
You are familiar with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and understand how to leverage cloud services to enhance data accessibility and processing capabilities. Your experience with machine learning concepts and practices allows you to contribute to the development of models that improve the performance of autonomous systems. You are a strong communicator, able to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering collaboration within your team.
Desirable
Experience with open-source frameworks, particularly Flyte, is a plus, as it aligns with the technologies used in our data pipelines. Familiarity with observability tools and practices will help you ensure the reliability and performance of the systems you develop. What you'll do
As a Software Engineer on the Data Search team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the data platform that supports autonomous driving initiatives. You will work closely with data scientists and engineers to design and implement data pipelines that facilitate the ingestion and processing of petabytes of data collected from our fleet. Your contributions will directly impact the development of machine learning models that enhance the perception and prediction capabilities of our autonomous systems.
You will be responsible for ensuring that data is accessible, reliable, and processed efficiently, enabling the team to tackle complex challenges in the AD/ADAS space. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help identify and implement improvements to our data infrastructure, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our projects. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the codebase, sharing your expertise with your peers.
