Job Description
Who you are
You have at least 1+ year of experience in property tax, managing the end-to-end property tax cycle which includes assessment review, valuation appeals, exemption filings, and payment processing for real and personal property. You are detail-oriented and ensure compliance with state and local regulations while maintaining and reconciling property tax data. Your expertise includes accurate capitalization and depreciation of fixed assets for property tax purposes, and you are always looking for ways to improve tax processes through technology and automation.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the entire property tax cycle, ensuring that all assessments are reviewed and that any necessary appeals are filed. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate property tax data and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will also work on improving efficiencies within the sales and use tax compliance process, leveraging technology and automation to save time and resources. Your role may involve collaborating with other teams to enhance the overall tax compliance strategy.
