Xendit is seeking a Merchant Ops Analyst to support businesses in Southeast Asia by processing merchant KYC profiles and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves collaboration with various teams to facilitate payment channel activations.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong understanding of KYC processes and regulatory compliance, with experience in reviewing and processing merchant profiles to ensure they meet internal policies and legal standards. You are detail-oriented and capable of assessing various business use cases to determine merchant eligibility effectively. Your ability to work collaboratively with external partners and internal teams is essential for ensuring merchants are set up to accept payments seamlessly. You are proactive in identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the onboarding process, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining the company's reputation and operational integrity.
Desirable
Experience in the payments industry or a related field is a plus, as is familiarity with payment processing systems and APIs. You possess strong analytical skills and can manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring that quality and production targets are met consistently. Your communication skills enable you to coordinate effectively with various teams across different geographies, fulfilling KYC requirements as mandated by compliance standards.
What you'll do
As a Merchant Ops Analyst at Xendit, you will play a critical role in enabling businesses to grow on our platform. You will be responsible for reviewing and processing merchant KYC profiles in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This involves assessing LDD, BDD, and business use cases to determine merchant eligibility. Beyond onboarding, you will support payment channel activations by working closely with external partners and internal teams to ensure merchants are successfully set up to accept payments. You will coordinate submissions, track progress, resolve issues, and help unblock any challenges that may arise during the onboarding process. Your role will also involve reporting operational, system, and policy issues immediately to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. You will be expected to achieve quality and production targets while managing ad hoc tasks for effective project management.
