Xometry is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II to enhance the reliability and performance of their infrastructure and software systems. You'll work with AWS, Docker, and Python to build flexible infrastructure solutions. This role requires experience in SRE practices and collaboration across engineering teams.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a solid foundation in Site Reliability Engineering principles and practices, with experience in managing and improving infrastructure reliability. You are proficient in AWS and have hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker. Your coding skills in Python allow you to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that enhances existing systems and features.
You understand the importance of collaboration and communication in a team environment, effectively sharing progress, blockers, and outcomes with your peers. You are committed to personal development and actively seek feedback to improve your technical skills and code quality. Your ability to balance effort, risk, and impact when estimating timelines for features and tasks is a key strength.
What you'll do
As a Site Reliability Engineer II at Xometry, you will take ownership of assigned problem statements and drive them to completion with guidance from senior engineers.
