Overview

Xometry is hiring a Solutions Engineer to serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, leveraging technical expertise to propose relevant solutions. You'll work closely with the Sales team to sell manufacturing processes across North America.

Who you are

You have a strong technical background and business acumen, enabling you to effectively consult with prospects and customers about Xometry's manufacturing capabilities. Your experience allows you to anticipate and overcome technical objections, accelerating sales opportunities. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to conduct discovery meetings that uncover business and technical requirements. Your ability to answer technical questions related to Design for Manufacturability (DFx) and other manufacturing processes makes you a valuable resource for both customers and internal teams.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the Sales team by conducting discovery meetings to uncover business and technical requirements that map to Xometry solutions. You will answer customer technical questions related to DFx and Xometry’s manufacturing capabilities, ensuring that clients understand how to leverage our technology effectively. You will consult with prospects and customers to identify appropriate applications of Xometry technology and define business cases and solutions that align with their needs.

You will demonstrate Xometry's capabilities, including the software quoting platform, to help customers visualize how our solutions can benefit their operations. Additionally, you will support internal product, sales, and engineering teams by providing feedback and content for marketing collateral, ensuring that our messaging aligns with customer needs and market trends.
