Desirable

Experience with 3D BIM models and their application in construction projects is a plus. Familiarity with XYZ's Atom technology or similar AR solutions will give you an edge in this role. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with project teams to drive successful outcomes.

What you'll do

As a Site Engineer at XYZ Reality, you will be responsible for providing layout support on-site, ensuring that construction installations align with the project specifications. You will utilize the Atom, our cutting-edge augmented reality headset, to visualize 3D BIM models as holograms, allowing you to identify clashes and errors in real-time. Your role will involve conducting quality inspections to verify that all work meets the required standards and reporting progress to project managers. You will also be expected to provide regular updates on potential issues, helping to mitigate costly rework and delays.

You will collaborate closely with construction teams, offering insights and recommendations based on your observations and the data provided by the Atom. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders will be crucial in ensuring that projects stay on track and within budget. As you gain experience, you may also have opportunities to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.
