Who you are

You have strong backend experience and a deep understanding of event-driven and microservices architectures, as well as scalable system design. Proven hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot is essential, as you will be building and maintaining robust production backend systems. You possess solid knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and object-oriented programming, which allows you to effectively tackle complex challenges. Proven experience owning services end-to-end, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring, is a key aspect of your background. Experience with frontend technologies such as React or Angular is an advantage, as you will be contributing to both backend and frontend development. You have a strong interest in leveraging AI to enhance eCommerce experiences, aligning with Yotpo's mission to innovate in the industry.

What you'll do

In this role, you will play a key part in developing and enhancing Yotpo’s next-generation platform, designed to be reliable and scalable. You will tackle complex challenges, including building critical applications capable of handling large datasets and high volumes of data efficiently. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure seamless integration across the eCommerce ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing backend services, leading code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers. You will also engage in continuous improvement of the platform, exploring how AI can power smarter, more personalized eCommerce experiences. Your contributions will directly impact the success of over 30,000 global brands that trust Yotpo to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
