What you'll do

As the Backend Engineering Manager at Yubo, you will lead the Backend Foundations team, which plays a crucial role in delivering robust internal backend solutions. You will be responsible for setting high execution standards and ensuring that your team delivers quality work that supports the entire engineering organization. You will collaborate closely with Infrastructure and Security teams to ensure the scalability and resilience of the backend stack.

Your role will involve defining the technical roadmap for the team, prioritizing projects that align with Yubo's strategic objectives. You will oversee the development of internal applications and libraries, ensuring they meet the needs of the engineering teams. You will also be responsible for performance observability, helping to identify and resolve issues proactively.

In addition to technical leadership, you will focus on team growth and development. You will conduct regular one-on-ones, provide feedback, and support your team members in their career progression. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging your team to innovate and experiment with new technologies and methodologies.
