Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years of industry experience, which has equipped you with a solid foundation in controls and instrumentation. You are adept at reviewing project engineering and sales packages to determine the scope of equipment required for customer projects. Your experience includes reading customer specifications and implementing them effectively to meet project requirements.
You possess strong skills in developing P&ID drawings in coordination with project, sales, and process engineers, ensuring that all specifications align with the 'AS SOLD' package. You are familiar with creating control panel BOMs that encompass various components such as control enclosures, pilot lights, and relays. Your technical expertise extends to developing ISA data sheets for temperature, level, flow, and pressure transmitters, as well as control valves and positioners.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing drawings for control panels, power distribution, and junction boxes, including general arrangement and internal layout schematics. You will also create logic diagrams in ISA format, ensuring that all documentation meets industry standards. Your work will involve inspections and tests, which may require you to collaborate with customers during the commissioning of the control systems supplied by Zeeco.
Occasional travel will be necessary to assist the sales group or support customers with system commissioning, which may include both domestic and international destinations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the controls and instrumentation meet the high standards expected by Zeeco's clients, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.
