You have 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas sector, bringing a wealth of knowledge in servicing combustion systems. Your technical background includes a high school diploma and a technical school certificate, with courses in mechanical instrumentation engineering. You are proficient in English and/or Spanish, allowing you to communicate effectively in diverse environments. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, enabling you to tackle complex issues with ease. You are adaptable and resilient, thriving in dynamic situations that require quick thinking and flexibility.

You possess a general understanding of computer networking applications and have basic knowledge of PLC programming and hardware troubleshooting. Your experience includes preparing detailed and organized technical reports using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. You are familiar with combustion equipment, which is a desirable asset for this role. Your ability to interpret technical documents and express terminology clearly makes you an effective communicator in technical settings.

What you'll do

As a Service Technician at Zeeco, you will be responsible for the overall support of the After-Sales Service provided to all Zeeco Combustion Systems. This includes performing preventative maintenance and providing emergency support, including after-hours assistance. You will engage in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently. Your role will also involve hardware-based automation support and commissioning for both new and existing vapor recovery, combustion, and product loading equipment in on-shore and off-shore environments.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams and support groups, contributing to a strong culture of teamwork and mutual respect. Your responsibilities will require you to travel nationally and internationally, providing you with opportunities to broaden your skills alongside subject matter experts in the field.
