You have a strong technical background with mechanical and electrical engineering skills, enabling you to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings effectively. Your experience includes troubleshooting and providing solutions for complex equipment problems with minimal supervision. You possess excellent written and oral communication skills, allowing you to interact professionally with various personnel, including plant managers and skilled labor. You are adept at managing workflow and coordinating work crews on job sites, ensuring that projects meet customer expectations. Your ability to follow both written and verbal instructions ensures that Zeeco combustion systems are installed and operating correctly. You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment, spending significant time traveling to installation sites.

What you'll do

As a Service Engineer at Zeeco, you will spend approximately 60% of your time traveling to various installation sites for the Burner Division. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising and validating the installation of burners and related equipment, performing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, and conducting start-up and tuning processes. You will troubleshoot Zeeco's combustion products, providing solutions to any issues that arise in the field. When not on-site, you may work at Zeeco's test facility or collaborate with other engineering teams. You will create and submit detailed reports on your findings and activities, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders. Your role will require you to manage contractors and other personnel effectively while on-site, ensuring that all operations align with Zeeco's standards and customer expectations.
