Your experience includes researching complex tampering and evasion techniques, which is crucial for countering advanced mobile cyberattacks. You are familiar with the LLVM framework and have knowledge of code obfuscation and de-obfuscation techniques, which are considered strong assets in this role. You thrive in environments where you can design new tools and improve existing ones, ensuring high coding standards across the team.
What you'll do
As a Detection Researcher at Zimperium, you will be responsible for researching and developing advanced detection capabilities to counter complex tampering and evasion techniques. You will design new tools and improve existing ones, performing thorough code reviews to maintain high coding standards. Your role will involve collaborating with other team members to enhance the mobile threat defense system, ensuring it provides real-time protection against both known and unknown mobile cyberattacks. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of the machine learning-based engine that protects against various types of attacks on iOS, Android, and Windows devices.
