You have a strong background in security operations, with experience leading teams focused on detection and response strategies. You are familiar with integrating advanced technologies such as automation and machine learning into security practices.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey complex security concepts to stakeholders. Your analytical mindset helps you evaluate security incidents and develop effective detection logic that enhances the overall security posture of the organization.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead a high-performing team of Detection & Response engineers, guiding them in the creation and evolution of detection strategies that measurably improve coverage of attacks. You will pioneer new features and technologies for the SOC, focusing on innovation and dependable delivery of value. Your leadership will be critical in defining how the platform evolves to meet customer needs.
You will facilitate your team's research by providing access to extensive security data sets, enabling them to explore and integrate new concepts. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development of scalable processes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the SOC. You will also be involved in mentoring team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
What we offer
Expel offers a competitive salary range of $151,000—$219,000 USD, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will be placed in a critical leadership role that is central to the continuous evolution of our platform and the success of our business.
