Your expertise in Large Multi-Modal Models (MLLMs) allows you to tackle complex challenges in offline autonomy, and you are passionate about deploying state-of-the-art AI technologies in innovative ways.

You possess excellent leadership skills, having successfully managed teams in fast-paced environments. Your collaborative approach fosters a culture of innovation and creativity, enabling your team to thrive while solving critical problems in autonomous driving technology.

You are proficient in programming languages such as Python and have hands-on experience with frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. Your technical skills are complemented by a strong understanding of AI ethics and safety considerations, ensuring that the solutions you develop are not only effective but also responsible.

You are a strategic thinker who can translate complex technical concepts into actionable plans. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and design, ensures that everyone is aligned towards common goals.

Desirable

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team focused on the application of MLLMs to solve concrete problems in autonomous driving. You will oversee the development and deployment of AI models that enhance the safety and performance of Zoox's autonomous vehicles. Your leadership will guide the team in experimenting with new approaches and technologies, ensuring that Zoox remains at the forefront of innovation in mobility.

You will collaborate closely with other teams to integrate AI solutions into the broader autonomous driving platform. This includes working with software engineers to ensure seamless implementation and with product managers to align AI capabilities with user needs and market demands.

Your responsibilities will also include mentoring team members, fostering their professional growth, and encouraging a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
