What you'll do

As an Automation & DevOps Tooling Intern at Zoox, you will be assigned to one of several teams focused on enhancing engineering processes. On the Tools and Automation team, you will develop full-stack applications that support QA Engineering processes, building systems that integrate with various internal tools. You will also contribute to automation solutions that improve efficiency and streamline processes, such as creating dashboards to visualize release statuses and trends.

On the Release Management team, your role will involve automating existing release workflows by developing new tooling and enhancing current systems. You will work on automating the approval process, integrating test results, and managing feature flags. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of the release team and the broader organization.

Additionally, you may work with the Firmware Tools team, where you will write software to integrate internal and external tools for automated firmware prototyping and develop new test frameworks. Your work will support continuous integration and nightly tests, allowing you to propose ideas for tool and feature improvements that enhance overall processes.
