What you'll do

As a Senior/Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Zoox, you will be responsible for developing advanced algorithms that enhance the environmental understanding of our self-driving robot. You will work closely with the Offline Driving Intelligence (ODIN) team to leverage large models for off-vehicle analysis, ensuring that our robotaxi platform can navigate complex environments safely and efficiently. Your role will involve fine-tuning multimodal large language models and collaborating with the onboard team to deliver impactful solutions. You will validate your algorithms using premium sensor data and cutting-edge infrastructure, directly influencing the productivity and safety of Zoox's autonomous systems. You will also engage in cross-functional collaboration, sharing insights and findings with other teams to drive continuous improvement in our technology.
