You thrive in collaborative settings, working alongside engineers and researchers to deliver impactful solutions in autonomous systems.
You possess a deep understanding of multimodal models and their applications in real-world scenarios. Your experience with sensor data and validation processes equips you to ensure that algorithms perform reliably under various conditions. You are passionate about leveraging AI to enhance safety and efficiency in self-driving technologies.
What you'll do
As a Senior/Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Zoox, you will be responsible for developing algorithms that enhance the environmental understanding of our self-driving robots. You will work closely with the Offline Driving Intelligence team to create and refine large language models that can interpret driving restrictions and identify hazards with minimal latency. Your role will involve leveraging premium sensor data and cutting-edge infrastructure to validate your algorithms in real-world conditions, directly impacting the productivity and safety of our autonomous systems.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including onboard engineers, to ensure that the models you develop integrate seamlessly into the robotaxi platform.
