What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the development of machine learning algorithms that are critical to the perception capabilities of Zoox's autonomous vehicles. You will work with the Perception team to analyze sensor data and create innovative solutions that enhance the vehicle's understanding of its environment. Your responsibilities will include prototyping new algorithms, collaborating with teams specializing in Prediction, Planning, Simulation, and Safety Validation, and influencing the overall technical stack of the organization.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that range from immediate company milestones to long-term exploratory initiatives. Your role will require you to think critically and creatively, crossing team boundaries to develop solutions that have a significant impact on the company's success. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
