What you'll do

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Zoox, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge machine learning solutions for our Offline Driving Intelligence team. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement Foundation Models that enhance the capabilities of ML Agents and improve planning processes. You will collaborate closely with the Planner, Simulation, and Validation teams to ensure that the models you develop meet the rigorous demands of real-world applications.

You will be responsible for creating novel machine learning pipelines that can accurately predict the behavior of other agents in various environments. This involves not only developing the models but also validating their performance and ensuring they can generalize effectively across different scenarios. You will leverage your expertise in Python and machine learning frameworks to build scalable and efficient solutions that can handle complex data inputs.

Your role will also involve mentoring junior engineers and sharing your knowledge of best practices in machine learning development. You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes, ensuring that our team remains at the cutting edge of technology.
