What you'll do

As a Learned Trajectory Machine Learning Engineer at Zoox, you will be responsible for developing deep learning models that produce trajectories for our vehicles. You will collaborate closely with the Planner and Perception teams to ensure that the models you create effectively influence driving behavior both on-vehicle and off-vehicle. Your role will involve applying machine learning algorithms to enhance the vehicle's ability to predict and adapt to various driving conditions.

You will engage in the entire lifecycle of model development, from data collection and preprocessing to model training and validation. Your work will directly impact the performance of our vehicles, as you will be tasked with refining algorithms that improve safety and efficiency. You will also participate in discussions with the Simulation and Systems Engineering teams to accelerate the validation of driving performance, ensuring that our vehicles meet the highest standards of reliability and safety.
