You understand the intricacies of 3D segmentation and occupancy mapping, and you are skilled at fusing data from Lidar, Radar, and Cameras to create unified representations of environments. Your analytical mindset helps you optimize models for performance and accuracy in real-world applications.

What you'll do

In this role, you will contribute to the Perception team at Zoox, focusing on the development of advanced 3D occupancy and segmentation networks. You will be responsible for architecting and optimizing deep learning models that generate dense, temporally consistent voxel representations of driving environments. Your work will enable our vehicles to navigate complex urban scenarios safely and efficiently.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the models you develop integrate seamlessly with downstream planners, providing precise geometry and motion estimates. Your contributions will be critical in enhancing the vehicle's ability to handle rare obstacles and drive safely in tight spaces.
