What you'll do

In this role, you will be a key member of the Platform Safety Assurance team, focusing on the verification and validation of systems that support Zoox's autonomous mobility solutions. Your work will directly impact the safety and operational capabilities of the fleet, ensuring that the systems are reliable and meet stringent safety standards.

You will collaborate closely with engineers from various disciplines to define safety requirements and develop verification strategies. This includes creating test plans, executing tests, and analyzing results to validate system performance. You will also contribute to the development of safety cases that demonstrate compliance with industry standards and regulations.

As part of your responsibilities, you will engage in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancing verification and validation processes. You will mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of safety and quality within the team.
