You have a strong background in managing strategic partnerships, with experience in building and nurturing relationships with leading payment methods at both local and continental levels. Your ability to define and execute a proactive, multi-year strategy across various payment methods showcases your strategic thinking and negotiation skills. You are motivated and tenacious, capable of influencing stakeholders and driving complex agreements to fruition.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Your communication skills allow you to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the partnership process. You understand the nuances of the payments landscape and are passionate about advancing strategic agendas with key financial institutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage strategic partnerships for Adyen, focusing on advancing the company's strategy with key payment methods across the EMEA region. You will define and execute a multi-year strategy that encompasses card-based, bank-based, and alternative payment methods. Your responsibilities will include negotiating complex agreements and driving high-impact collaborations that enhance Adyen's market position.

You will work closely with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to build and maintain strong commercial relationships. Your role will require you to stay informed about industry trends and developments, ensuring that Adyen remains at the forefront of payment solutions. You will also be responsible for reporting on partnership performance and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
