Welocalize is seeking an Arabic (UAE) Translation Quality Rater to review and refine customer service content. This role involves editing machine-translated materials for accuracy and quality. Experience in language services is preferred.
You are an experienced language professional with a strong understanding of Arabic (UAE) and its nuances. You have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality translations that meet project guidelines. Your background in reviewing and editing machine-translated content has equipped you with the skills necessary to evaluate translation quality effectively. You are familiar with style guides and terminology requirements, ensuring that all content aligns with the expected standards. You are proactive in identifying recurring issues in machine translation and reporting trends to improve overall quality. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to ongoing projects that enhance customer service content.
In this role, you will edit and review machine-translated customer service content, ensuring a high level of accuracy and consistency. You will evaluate the quality of machine translation output and apply severity ratings as needed, following the established project guidelines. Your responsibilities will include producing high-quality human translations that serve as reference data for model training and quality evaluation. You will follow provided style guides, tone rules, and terminology requirements to maintain consistency across all content. Additionally, you will identify and report recurring quality issues in machine translation and batch-level trends to help improve the overall process. This ongoing project will allow you to utilize your language skills and contribute to enhancing customer service experiences.
