Unit is hiring a Senior Account Executive to lead go-to-market efforts in the Bay Area. You'll own the full commercial lifecycle of complex deals and work closely with customers and engineering teams. This role requires strong sales skills and a consultative approach.
You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a consultative selling environment — you've successfully closed complex deals and understand the intricacies of the sales process. Your ability to educate and engage with executive teams sets you apart, as you can effectively communicate the value of financial services to diverse stakeholders.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable taking ownership of your pipeline — your proactive approach to sourcing and discovery has led to significant revenue outcomes in your previous roles. You are a strategic thinker who can design tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.
Your interpersonal skills are exceptional, allowing you to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams alike — you enjoy collaborating with engineering teams to whiteboard solutions and ensure that client needs are met. You are adaptable and willing to travel as needed, with a preference for candidates who can balance time between San Francisco and New York.
As the first Account Executive in the Bay Area, you will own the full commercial lifecycle across complex, consultative deals — from sourcing and discovery through solution design, negotiation, and close. You will drive pipeline creation and revenue execution, taking accountability for progressing strategic opportunities and translating them into durable revenue outcomes.
You will work closely with customers and prospects, educating them about Unit's offerings and how they can reshape their financial ecosystems. Your role will involve significant collaboration with engineering teams to ensure that solutions are not only viable but also innovative and aligned with client expectations.
In this hands-on role, you will report directly to the CEO initially, with a clear path to transitioning into a sales leadership position as the company scales. You will be instrumental in establishing Unit's presence in the Bay Area, helping to shape the go-to-market strategy and drive growth during a critical stage of the company's development.
