Welocalize is seeking a Dutch Translation Quality Rater to review and refine customer service content. This role involves editing machine-translated materials for accuracy and quality. Experience in language services is preferred.
You are an experienced language professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring high-quality translations. Your background in reviewing and refining translated content makes you an ideal candidate for this role. You understand the nuances of the Dutch language and are familiar with customer service terminology, which allows you to evaluate machine-translated materials effectively. You are committed to maintaining accuracy and consistency in your work, following project guidelines closely.
You have experience in producing high-quality human translations and are comfortable working with machine translation outputs. Your ability to identify recurring quality issues and trends will help improve the overall quality of the project. You are detail-oriented and can apply severity ratings to MT output quality when required, ensuring that all content meets the established standards.
In this role, you will edit and review machine-translated customer service content, ensuring a high level of accuracy and consistency. You will evaluate the quality of machine translation outputs and apply severity ratings as necessary, following the project guidelines. Your work will involve producing high-quality human translations that serve as reference data for model training and quality evaluation. You will also follow provided style guides, tone rules, and terminology requirements to maintain the integrity of the content.
Additionally, you will identify and report recurring machine translation quality issues and batch-level trends, contributing to the continuous improvement of the project. Your insights will be valuable in refining the translation process and enhancing the overall quality of the customer service content.
This is an ongoing project with a competitive hourly rate of $34.13.
