Who you are

You have a strong background in privacy and data protection, with experience in managing compliance programs across various jurisdictions. Your understanding of international, federal, and local regulations enables you to navigate complex legal landscapes effectively. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to assess risks and implement necessary controls to protect sensitive information. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that privacy considerations are integrated into all aspects of the business. Your communication skills are top-notch, enabling you to articulate privacy policies and procedures clearly to stakeholders at all levels. You are proactive in identifying potential privacy issues and are committed to fostering a culture of privacy within the organization.

Desirable

Experience with privacy frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulations is a plus. Familiarity with data protection technologies and practices will enhance your ability to contribute to the team. A background in cybersecurity or risk management can also be beneficial, as it complements your privacy expertise.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the company's global privacy and data protection programs. You will ensure that 1Password complies with all relevant regulations and standards, conducting regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement. You will collaborate with various departments to develop and implement privacy policies and procedures, ensuring that they are effectively communicated and adhered to across the organization.
