Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in application security, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices. You are familiar with OWASP guidelines and have hands-on experience with security testing tools like Burp Suite. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle. You have a proactive mindset and are always looking for ways to improve security processes and practices. You are passionate about building secure products and have a keen interest in the latest security trends and technologies.

What you'll do

As a Senior Security Engineer at 1Password, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security risks in our applications. You will conduct security assessments and penetration testing to uncover vulnerabilities, and work closely with development teams to remediate issues. You will also contribute to the development of security policies and best practices, ensuring that security is a priority throughout the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to design secure features and provide guidance on secure coding practices. Additionally, you will stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and share your knowledge with the team to foster a culture of security awareness.
