Who you are

You hold a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Robotics, and are eager to contribute to the future of autonomous driving. You have a solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning theories, including CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers, which you apply in practical scenarios. Your programming skills in Python are strong, enabling you to implement complex algorithms efficiently. You have experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, which you have used to build and refine machine learning models. You are familiar with the processes of training, evaluating, and experimenting with machine learning models, and you have a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and solving problems. Your communication skills allow you to collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive team dynamic.

Desirable

Experience with reinforcement learning and imitation learning through coursework or projects is a plus. You have worked on research or projects related to autonomous driving, robotics, or path planning, showcasing your ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings. You are comfortable handling large datasets and have experience in conducting experiments or research using them. Familiarity with ROS1 or ROS2 is beneficial, as is experience in training or inference in GPU environments. You may have participated in academic conferences or research projects, demonstrating your commitment to staying at the forefront of your field.

What you'll do

In this role, you will assist in the development of machine learning models for future path prediction and behavior prediction for autonomous driving. You will implement and experiment with machine learning models related to perception, decision-making, and motion planning, contributing to the overall improvement of the autonomous driving system. Your responsibilities will include collecting, preprocessing, and analyzing driving data to create effective training datasets. You will design experiments to evaluate and enhance the performance of the trained models, ensuring they meet safety and efficiency standards. Additionally, you will support testing and debugging of machine learning models integrated with the vehicle software stack, collaborating closely with senior engineers to learn best practices in machine learning development.
