Job Description
Who you are
You have experience in designing audio signal processing and preprocessing algorithms, specifically with AGC, AEC, and NR. Your background includes a solid understanding of voice recognition and signal separation technologies, which allows you to develop tailored solutions for various vehicle environments.
You are proficient in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C, and C++, enabling you to implement and optimize signal processing algorithms effectively. Your experience includes debugging and developing DSP-related projects, ensuring high-quality audio performance in automotive systems.
You possess strong project management skills, having managed timelines and requirements in production projects. Your ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners enhances collaboration and ensures project success.
Your experience in developing automotive audio systems or similar domains gives you a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities in this field. You have researched or applied acoustic technologies in multi-microphone environments, contributing to improved sound quality and recognition accuracy.
Desirable
Experience with machine learning or deep learning applied to audio signal processing is a plus. You have developed and tuned voice recognition systems, such as wake-up word detection, and have collaborated with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers on audio system validation and quality control.
What you'll do
As an Audio DSP Engineer at 42dot, you will design and optimize core audio signal processing algorithms tailored to specific vehicle conditions. You will develop signal processing solutions that enhance voice recognition and sound quality across various seating arrangements and environments.
You will work on developing scalable algorithms based on multi-microphone data to improve voice signal separation and recognition accuracy. Your role will involve tuning and optimizing preprocessing technologies for OEM vehicles, ensuring that solutions meet technical requirements and project timelines.
You will support production projects by managing schedules, resolving technical requirements, and ensuring compliance with deadlines. Your responsibilities will also include conducting signal quality tests and debugging to stabilize systems, reducing dependency on external solutions through internal technology development.
After production, you will maintain and enhance technologies, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation to evolving automotive audio needs. You will collaborate closely with team members and external partners, fostering effective communication and teamwork throughout the project lifecycle.
