You have over 5 years of experience in backend engineering, particularly in developing and commercializing web applications using Java or Kotlin. Your expertise includes designing and implementing scalable backend services that support various B2C applications, ensuring a seamless user experience across mobile platforms.

You possess a strong understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS, and have hands-on experience with Kubernetes for deploying and managing applications. Your background includes working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, allowing you to choose the right data storage solutions for different use cases.

You are familiar with distributed systems and have experience with technologies like Redis and Kafka, which are essential for building high-performance applications that can handle large volumes of traffic. Your proficiency in Git and Jira ensures that you can effectively collaborate with your team and manage code reviews in a CI/CD environment.

Desirable

You have experience designing and developing large-scale B2C services, particularly in the mobility sector. Your background includes working with mobile applications or SDKs, and you understand the intricacies of API development that integrates with various services.

You are knowledgeable about OAuth2 for authentication and authorization, and have experience developing Open APIs that facilitate secure access to services. Your familiarity with microservices architecture enables you to build modular applications that are easy to maintain and scale.

What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at 42dot, you will be responsible for designing and developing backend services for our mobile applications focused on Software Defined Vehicles. You will work on features that enhance vehicle purchasing, insurance, operation, maintenance, and resale, ensuring a comprehensive user experience.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mobile developers and product managers, to define and implement APIs that support various functionalities. Your role will involve designing components for user authentication, payment processing, and data management that can be reused across multiple services.

You will also be involved in integrating with B2B platforms, ensuring that our services can communicate effectively with partner systems. Your contributions will directly impact the evolution of our integrated mobility platform, helping to create a seamless ecosystem for vehicles, developers, and data.
