Job Description
Who you are
You have experience in developing system-level APIs and service applications based on AOSP/AAOS, showcasing your ability to work with complex automotive systems. Your background includes developing AIDL-based clients and services, demonstrating a strong understanding of inter-process communication in Android environments.
You are proficient in Kotlin and have a solid grasp of asynchronous processing, which allows you to build responsive applications that enhance user experience. Your skills in Java and C++ system programming languages enable you to tackle a variety of challenges in embedded systems development.
You possess a broad understanding of the Android platform, which is essential for customizing the AAOS framework to meet specific vehicle service requirements. Your familiarity with Android Automotive Vehicle HAL further strengthens your capability to integrate hardware and software components effectively.
You are passionate about exploring new technologies and solving diverse problems, which drives your continuous learning and adaptation in the fast-evolving automotive industry. What you'll do
As an IVI OS Engineer at 42dot, you will design and develop automotive car service applications that leverage vehicle data to provide various functionalities. Your primary responsibility will be to create middleware that connects Pleos Vehicle OS with IVI systems, ensuring seamless integration and communication between components.
You will customize AAOS car services, focusing on inputs, power management, occupant data, and diagnostics, which are critical for enhancing the overall user experience in vehicles. Your expertise in AOSP/AAOS will be vital as you work on integrating vehicle data and developing SDKs that facilitate application development.
