Job Description
Who you are
You have experience in embedded systems development, particularly with AAOS/Linux-based environments, and a strong understanding of Android HAL development. Your background includes working with vehicle data simulation tools and integrating IVI with SDV Vehicle OS. You are proficient in key embedded system languages such as C, C++, and Java, and have hands-on experience with protocols like CAN, SOME/IP, or DDS.
You possess a broad understanding of the Android platform and Automotive Car Service, which allows you to contribute effectively to the development of competitive middleware and applications. Your experience includes testing HAL using VTS, ensuring that your work meets high standards of quality and performance. You are also interested in code automation and efficiency, always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.
What you'll do
As an IVI OS Engineer at 42dot, you will be responsible for developing Android Automotive HAL components, including Vehicle, GNSS, and Sensor HAL. You will also create vehicle data simulation tools based on Android Automotive OS, ensuring seamless integration between IVI and SDV Vehicle OS. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop service applications that enhance the user experience in Software Defined Vehicles.
You will engage in the full development lifecycle, from design to implementation, and will be expected to contribute to the optimization of existing systems.
