Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a similar technical field. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in building scalable data platforms, you have a strong understanding of distributed systems and their complexities. Your expertise in Python and cloud technologies like AWS allows you to develop efficient solutions for ML model training and evaluation. You are familiar with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, which you use to streamline deployment processes. Your experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark and MLflow enables you to optimize data pipelines and enhance model performance. You are a collaborative team player, working closely with cross-functional teams to align ML platforms with the overall architecture of autonomous driving systems.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop a high-scale, reliable data platform to manage, visualize, search, and serve large-scale datasets for ML model training and validation. You will create advanced SDKs for autonomous driving data, focusing on scene data search and dataset preparation. Your responsibilities will include building a data lakehouse that integrates various data types, including sensor and calibration data. You will analyze performance bottlenecks throughout the data processing pipelines, ensuring low latency and high throughput. Additionally, you will bootstrap and maintain the infrastructure for data platform components, collaborating with teams focused on ML algorithms and cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless integration. You will also be involved in monitoring and optimizing the ML model development lifecycle, from training to deployment and monitoring in a cloud environment.
