You have experience in security vulnerability assessment and penetration testing for web, mobile, and embedded applications — you can analyze vulnerabilities and provide specific remediation guidance. You are skilled in static source code analysis tools and can identify security vulnerabilities in source code effectively.

You have a strong understanding of security practices and can conduct thorough security evaluations at hardware, software, and network levels. Your experience includes performing penetration tests and vulnerability assessments on vehicles and control units, ensuring comprehensive security coverage.

You are familiar with programming languages such as Rust, Python, C, C++, and Java — you can utilize at least one of these languages in your work. Your background may include participation in hacking competitions or bug bounty programs, showcasing your practical experience in the field.

You are detail-oriented and can provide actionable insights based on analyzed vulnerabilities, helping teams to improve their security posture. You have experience in automating penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tasks, enhancing efficiency in security operations.

Desirable

Experience in vehicle hacking or related practical experience is a plus. You may have received awards in domestic or international hacking competitions, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field.

What you'll do

As a Security Engineer at 42dot, you will be responsible for conducting security threat analysis and assessments for our urban mobility services. You will perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on vehicles and control units, ensuring that our systems are secure against potential threats.

You will analyze source code for security vulnerabilities and provide guidance on improvements, collaborating closely with development teams to enhance security measures. Your role will involve simulating attacks to identify weaknesses and recommending specific remediation strategies based on your findings.

You will work with the CSIR (Cyber Security Incident Response) Team to implement security best practices across various domains, from internal security to service security. Your contributions will help shape the security landscape of our innovative mobility solutions.
