Your expertise in TypeScript and Python allows you to conduct in-depth code reviews and implement security best practices effectively. You are well-versed in security assessments and third-party audits, ensuring compliance with regulations such as GDPR. You have a strong understanding of security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners, which you leverage to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle. Your ability to influence security strategies and drive improvements within a team is a key asset. You stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, allowing you to respond effectively to security incidents and participate in incident response procedures. What you'll do

In this role, you will design, implement, and manage security measures for the protection of Factory's cloud infrastructure, applications, and data. You will focus on both preventative controls and rapid response capabilities, ensuring that security is integrated into every aspect of the software development lifecycle. You will conduct security code reviews to identify and remediate vulnerabilities, developing automated security testing procedures to proactively identify risks.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to establish secure coding standards and automated security testing practices. Your role will involve documenting security processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure clarity and compliance across the organization. You will also lead security awareness and training programs, fostering a culture of security within the team. Your contributions will be critical in shaping the overall security strategy and ensuring that Factory's platform remains secure against evolving threats.
