Who you are
You are a skilled Simulation Engineer with a strong background in developing high-fidelity simulation environments for autonomous driving systems. Your programming skills in C++, Python, and familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure set you apart. You have project experience aligned with simulation, autonomous vehicles, or robotics, and you are comfortable working with middleware development and integration, particularly with ROS or ROS2.
You thrive in collaborative environments, possessing excellent communication skills that enable you to work effectively with software engineers, robotics engineers, and data scientists. Your proficiency in Linux, Git, and SQL complements your technical expertise, allowing you to analyze simulation results and provide actionable insights to improve performance and reliability.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop and maintain advanced simulation environments to validate and verify the performance of autonomous driving algorithms and software. You will implement realistic vehicle models, sensor models, and environmental models within the simulation framework. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing simulation experiments to validate and verify the performance of perception, planning, and control algorithms.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the robustness, scalability, and accuracy of our simulation tools.
